This Sheepadoodle is a cross-breed/hybrid dog obtained by breeding an Old English sheepdog with a poodle. She has been looked after by her Californian owner since she was a pup, and has one of the best smiles I have seen on a dog.

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God”

Matthew 5:8

This beautiful white shepherd was my second attempt at painting a dog, the first attempt was a disaster, but this one came out much better.

“Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you”

In the year since I painted Winnie, a Romanian rescue dog, she has been loved and cared for by her new owners and she’s no longer recognizable as the same dog. No longer afraid of loud noises and strangers. We have speculated on her past but we acknowledge that care and love goes a long way.

“You, Lord, took up my case you redeemed my life”

Lamentation 3:58

One of my favourite paintings. This painting of this young pup was based on a photo taken many years ago. A reminder to appreciate what we have today, don’t wait until tomorrow!

“When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy”
